Talks

JavaScript never stands still—it evolves every year with new features, tools, and possibilities that push what we can do on the web. With ES2025 around the corner, scheduled to be the new version of JS in summer, it’s a great time to look at what’s coming next. What exciting changes are coming to the language at its core?

In this talk, we’ll explore the latest features that will be part of ES2025, the proposals that will transform how we write code, and what the future could hold for JS developers. We’ll also take a look at how JavaScript gets standardised via ECMAScript and how you can stay ahead of the curve. Let’s dive into the next chapter of JavaScript together!

I'm Alvaro, a mainly frontend developer with 10 years of experience. I work at ThousandEyes (part of Cisco) as a Tech Lead in a product called Endpoint agent.

I'm a passionate about programming since I was 12 and two of my biggest motivations are to learn and solve complex problems. These motivations took me to San Francisco seven years ago, where I discovered my love for the frontend. I'm now based in London but I still love spending hours talking about the frontend ecosystem, and especially about Vue.
